    HarMoney Program Launch!

    10 a.m.

    HarMoney, a brand new program at JVS, is designed to help low to moderate income families with a credit score of 620 and below with funds to pay for some collections and/or down payment assistance towards the purchase of a new home. This conversation will discuss the program, how to register, what to expect and a more in depth discussion about the benefits.

    Participants will be expected to successfully complete a 90-day program (with 12 weekly sessions) learning about credit, savings, money management and home ownership.

    This Homebuyer Education class will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams.

    This program will help you learn if homeownership is right for you, how to select the right home, work effectively with a lender, close on the loan and avoid foreclosure. A nominal material fee of $50 per household is payable in cash, credit card or money order.
