Positive Approach to Care Free Workshop: Using Skills That Make a Difference

Unlike older philosophies and methods of dementia care that emphasize what’s been lost, Positive Approach to Care focuses on what remains, which creates strong connections between the person living with dementia and their families and care partners and builds a framework for providing care with dignity. Offered at 10 am-noon in West Bloomfield; 4-6 pm in Southfield. Free respite care provided during the workshops. Sponsored by the Dorothy and Peter Brown Jewish Community Adult Day Program, a partnership of Jewish Senior Life and JVS Human Services. Funded by the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Legacy Fund for Caregivers of the Community Foundation for SE Michigan. More info>>
